About Ideal Nursery Lawn and Garden
Since April 2026 Kelly my wife and I have owned Ideal Nursery now for 32 years. Kelly decided to go back to school she achieved a BSN degree and works at Little Susters of Poor as an RN. I run and operate the Nursery by myself. Today, in season I have limited daily hours. However in the Spring I am Open 7 days a week. I enjoy helping people with their flower and vegetable gardens. I think of you my customer as GOOD friends.

Raytown is in Missouri, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raytown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I found this place two years ago and met Victor. He's very friendly, and provides good service. His prices are very affordable, he's really good with people, and knows his stuff! As long as he's open, he'll see me every year!

We are extremely happy with plants we got from Ideal Nursery. They have a great selection, and all look lush and beautiful. The Ideal Man, and proprietor, is very knowledgeable and friendly. This place is a hidden gem!!! The owner was SO friendly, I was getting a bunch of veggie plants and he discounted/threw in free ones just for the heck of it. He was so nice and you can tell he does it just for the love of growing. He had his own cuttings in the greenhouses, showing where a lot of the plants came from. Highly recommend this place.
